Every Migoto product is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If something we made fails because of how it was made, we'll replace it.

What's covered

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal home use — for example, a handle that loosens or cracks, a rivet that fails, a blade that breaks during ordinary cutting, or a pan base that warps under normal heat. This applies to all Migoto knives, knife sets, cookware and accessories.

How long

For the lifetime of the product. The warranty stays with the product, not the buyer, so it covers gifts and anyone who receives one.

What's not covered

• Normal wear: dulling edges, surface scratches, patina, and natural color changes in wood
• Damage from misuse, such as cutting bone or frozen food with blades not made for it, prying, dropping, or using a knife as a tool
• Damage from improper care, such as the dishwasher, soaking, or rust from air-drying
• Chips or edge damage from grinders or improper sharpening
• Accidents, modifications, or repairs done by someone else

How to make a claim

Email support@migotokitchen.com with your order number (or the gift giver's), photos of the defect, and a short description of what happened. We'll reply within 1–2 business days. In some cases we may ask you to send the item back so we can take a look.

What we do

If the defect is confirmed, we'll send you a replacement at no cost, including shipping both ways. If the product is no longer made, we'll replace it with one of equal or greater value.
